This is a pdf file/digital download of Arithmetic Book, NOT a paper pattern!
This design was inspired by an antique book plate from Pennsylvania. Three separate designs are included in this chart pack - the full sampler, the bird in the cage and the bird pincushion. I loved the bird in this design so much, I wanted to use it again and again!
Please note: This listing is for the PATTERN only, not a finished, stitched sampler!!
Our sampler was stitched and finished by Rindy Richards. Rindy does amazing work and I'm very grateful she is willing to stitch and finish for me.
All three designs were stitched on 40 Count Bramble from Picture This Plus using Needlepoint Silks and Silk N Colors overdyed silks from The Thread Gatherer (who has an Etsy shop!). As always a conversion to DMC is provided.
Here's the low down:
The stitch count of the sampler is 101 Wide by 173 High.
The stitch count for the caged bird is 95 Wide by 89 High.
The stitch count for the pincushion is 73 Wide by 50 High.
Needlepoint Silks used are: 704, 991BB, 993
Silk N Colors used are: Camoflage, Captain's Sea Chest, Chstnut, Emerald Isle, Mahogany Wine, Samuri Star, Slug Bug and Tapestry Green.
The DMC conversion are: 543, Blanc, 310, 731, 451, 433, 3814, 840, 993, 838, 890.
