This design is an exact reproduction of an antique sampler I found in Pennsylvania. Our reproduction is stitched on 46-count Bergen Linen from Lakeside Linens. This linen is actually an uneven weave with a thread count of 41 threads vertically and 46 threads horizontally. This provides for stitches which are taller than they are high, which is the case in the antique sampler. Stitch count is 61 wide by 84 high. Needlepoint Silk threads were used and a conversion to DMC is provided.
