Maddie is stitched on 40-Count Ancient from Picture This Plus using Needlepoint Silks. Cross stitch over two threads of linen is used throughout with the exception of Maddie's whiskers which are worked in straight stitches. Our sampler is mounted onto an antique butter paddle. I've given a source for reproduction butter paddles.
NPI silks used: 355, 475, 764, 863, 993.
The stitch count is 81 high by 80 wide.
