October 31st was stitched on 40-Count Creme Brulee from R&R Reproductions using one strand of Needlepoint Silk over two threads of linen. With the following exceptions, cross stitch is used throughout:
*Work the owl's nose with one strand of 993/310 using straight stitches.
*Work the lines on all pumpkins with one strand of 903/400 using back stitches.
*Work the pumpkin vines using one strand of 334/831 using back stitches.
*Work the snake's tongue using one strand of 626/946 using straight stitches.
*Work the snake's eyes in French Knots using one stand of 993/310.
*Work all bats' eyes in French Knots using one strand of 557/741.
Stitch Count: 97 wide by 86 high.
NPI used: 334, 476, 557, 558, 623, 626, 694, 863, 865, 903, 993. A conversion to DMC is provided.
The frame was made by Valley House Primitives.
