A new design for September, 2013!
Winter Swan was stitched on 40-Count Autumn Gold from Lakeside Linens using one strand of Needlepoint Silk over two threads of linen. A skein of The Thread Gatherer's Silk "N Colors in Sea Heather will also be needed. Our beautiful frame was made by Valley House Primitives. Cross stitch is used throughout with the exception of a couple of straight stitches to form the swan's eye.
The stitch count is 117 wide by 95 high.
The following Needlepoint Silk colors are used: 315, 336, 479, 692, 694, 991B, 993 and Sea Heather from The Thread Gatherer. A conversion to DMC is provided.
