The Skating Santa Stocking was originally designed by my sister, Marty Barrick, who was the owner of Carriage House Samplings. The sampler version was designed by me.
Our stocking was stitched on 40-Count Hemingway from Needle and Flax using DMC threads. The stitch count for the stocking is 172 Wide by 418 High. The stitch count for the sampler is 84 Wide by 417 High.
Although the Stocking was stitched with DMC threads, the conversion to Needlepoint Silks are: 993, 647, 645, 966, 965, 963, 851, 471, 775, 773, 772, 186, 865, 855, 493, 524A, 725, 532, 529, 991BB.
Finishing instructions for the stocking are included.
